The Ecclesiastical Museum
The Ecclesiastical Museum of the Monastery of Chrysopigi houses treasures saved from the successive destructions and pillages of the Monastery. Among these are old icons, sacred vessels, examples of ecclesiastical embroidery from the 18th and 19th centuries, crosses of blessing, old liturgical books, official documents, and wood carvings.
The Folk Museum
The Folk Museum contains examples of popular embroidery, traditional costumes, photographs, paintings, works of popular and ecclesiastical wood-carving, traditional agricultural implements and tools, etc.
The Ecclesiastical and Folk Museums can be visited during the hours the Monastery ofChrysopigi is open (from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 15.30 to 18:00 daily).
